City seminar to assist families struggling with debt

A meeting is to be held in the city on Thursday evening (May 16) to assist families who are struggling to cope with mounting debt.

The event is hosted by New Beginnings and aims to give practical advice on how to deal with the trauma of debt as well as pressures to mental health.

Psychologist Shane Martin will also speak on self help steps for those facing financial worry.

The free seminar called ‘Bouncing Back’ takes place in the Clayton Hotel in the city and gets underway at 7 on Thursday evening.
