CITY SEARCH FOR MISSING MAN TO RESUME TOMORROW

A search for a missing man is to resume in the morning after he was last seen entering the water in the city overnight.

The man, aged 19, was seen entering the water near O’Brien’s bridge at appromiately 2.45am.

Two units of Galway City fire brigade were then called to assist efforts nearby at Wolfe Tone Bridge.

Gardai are appealing to anyone walking the shoreline to contact them should they have any information on 091 – 538 000.
