CITY RESIDENTS LOSE BATTLE AGAINST APARTMENT PLANS

A city residents group has lost its fight to stop controversial new apartments being built nearby.

The Munster Avenue Residents Association has lost its appeal against the demolition of 5 houses on Munster Avenue and their replacement with 5 apartments.

The decision by An Bord Pleanála means Red Stables Ltd of Galway Harbour Enterprise Park can redevelop the Munster Avenue site.
