CITY RESIDENTS ESCAPE HOUSE FIRE OFF TUAM ROAD

Residents of a house in the city had a lucky escape from a fire this morning.

The alarm was raised at 2.40 am and two units of Galway Fire brigade attended the scene of a house fire at Glenanail Drive off the Tuam Road.

The occupants of the house were outside by the time the firefighters arrived.
