CITY RESIDENTS CALL FOR WATER TANKERS INSTEAD OF BOTTLES

Galway city council is being accused of neglecting elderly and disabled residents of water-contaminated areas of the city by only supplying 4 litres of bottled water per household per week.

The city council began distributing 4 litres of bottled water to 50 houses in Shantalla yesterday, and is distributing bottled water to 50 more houses today.
