City public meeting to discuss Ireland’s future

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public meeting will take place in the city this week to discuss the development of an alternative vision for Ireland.
Galway City Community Forum has teamed up with the Claiming Our Future initiative for the event.
The movement brings together members of society together to discuss equality, environmental sustainability and accountability.
The meeting, which will take place at the city museum from 2.30p.m to 4.30p.m on Friday, will centre around the topic of ‘claiming our republic’.
Ann Irwin from Galway City Community Forum says the meeting is open to anyone with an opinion of how our future should be developed.
