City protest over cuts to special needs education
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Demonstrators are to gather in the city tomorrow evening (June 26) as part of a rally against cuts to special needs education.
The protest is organised by the Special Needs Parents Association and is part of a nationwide campaign.
Organisers are calling on the government to protect the area from further cuts.
Local campaigner Mary Conneely says the most vulnerable in society should be protected.
She is calling on all parents in Galway to support the rally.
