CITY PAY AND DISPLAY MACHINES TO BE REPLACED

The city council is looking to replace its entire stock of Pay and Display machines.

92 machines are under the council’s control and it plans to replace a third of these by the end of the year, with the rest to follow.

Councillor Catherine Connolly voiced her opposition to the new machines at this week’s meeting of the council.

She believes the machines are a nuisance that should be scrapped and replaced with parking discs.
