CITY MEETINGS TO FOCUS ON HUMAN RIGHTS

We’re being invited to share our experiences and opinions on our human rights record at a series of public meetings in the city later today.

17 human rights organisations have banded together under the ‘Your Rights. Right Now’ campaign to allow the public have a say on Ireland’s Human Rights record.

It’s in advance of the first ever review by the United Nations of our Human Rights record next October.

The 2 public information sessions in Galway are free and take place today from 3.30 to 5.30pm and 6.30 to 8pm in the Galway People’s Resource Centre, Merchant’s Road in the city.
