CITY MEETING TO DISCUSS HOUSEHOLD CHARGE

A public meeting is set to take place in the city this evening[11/1] regarding the household charge.

It’s being organised as part of the anti-household charge campaign as a way of bringing homeowners together to decide how to proceed.

Earlier this week, up to 80 people protested against the charge at City Hall on College Road.

Tonight’s meeting will take place at 8 o’ clock upstairs in Richardsons, Eyre Square.

Meanwhile the national campaign against the household charge has set up a hotline to offer advice.
