Galway Bay fm newsroom – Parkmore based medical device firm Syncrophi Systems Limited has secured one million euro in seed capital funding.

The firm is based in Galway Technology Park where it develops advanced wireless patient-monitoring systems.

The Parkmore medical devices firm was established in 2008.

This funding has been secured from Enterprise Equity Venture Capital.

It co-manages the AIB Seed Capital Fund, the Western Investment Fund, Enterprise Ireland and the Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme.

It means the company can now bring its KEWS100 product to market – a system which allows patients’ vital signs to be monitored.

It’s now being installed in the Galway Clinic with other installations expected throughout Ireland and the UK.
