CITY MAYOR TO LAUNCH GALWAY VISIONING DAY
Mayor of Galway Terry O’ Flaherty will launch ‘Galway visioning day’ this weekend.
The aim of the event is to produce an action plan for a more sustainable Galway by 2030.
It’s being hosted by Transition Galway, which is one of thousands of such groups around the world.
The goal is to help local communities deal with challenges such as reduced oil supplies and climate disruption.
Galway Visioning day is open to the public and takes place in Scoil Chroí Íosa on the Newcastle road in the city tommorow from 11am to 4pm. (6 APRIL)
