CITY MAYOR LAUNCHES SURVEY TO TACKLE TRAFFIC CHAOS

We’re being asked for our ideas on tackling traffic chaos in the city.

The initiative, aimed at getting advice from citizens on short-term solutions to the traffic problem, was launched by the Mayor of Galway, Hildegarde Naughton last evening[Nov 28].

Over the next two months, the public will be asked to take part in traffic surveys and encouraged to go online to a website to contribute to forums.

Companies and businesses in Galway will also be targeted for their ideas and responses.
