CITY MAYOR CRITICISED FOR NORRIS U-TURN

Galway city councillors claim it was no mistake that Mayor Hildegarde Naughton voted to block Senator David Norris from speaking to the city council.

Councillors Catherine Connolly and Michael Crowe have been speaking out after Mayor Naughton used her casting vote to stop the Presidential hopeful from addressing councillors.

Mayor Naughton has since done a u-turn and claims she will do everything in her power to reverse this decision.
