Galway bay fm newsroom – The Manager of Galway City Council says he will look at the possibility of taking people off the Live Register to work at the City Museum.

The issue was raised by Councillor Ollie Crowe at a meeting of the City Council this week. (11/11)

He said that there were 160 thousand visitors to the city museum in 2012 and that it should be open 7 days a week to increase that figure further.

The current opening hours for the museum are Tuesday to Saturday.
