CITY MAN WHO ASSAULTED GARDAI HAS CASE ADJOURNED UNTIL SEPTEMBER

A city man charged with assaulting two Gardai and two other people has had his hearing adjourned until September.

27 year old Gerard Barry of 65 St James Crescent, Mervue, with an address at Tur Uisce, Doughiska, was legally remanded on continuing bail over the charges before Galway District Court today.

However as he is currently in custody, he will not be freed on bail.
