CITY MAN SENTENCED FOR DRUG DEALING

A 24 year old man, charged with dealing cocaine in the city almost 2 years ago,has been sentenced to four years in prison, with the final two and a half suspended.

Michael Ryan with a former address at 1 Teach Briota, Ballybrit, appeared before Galway Circuit Criminal Court.

Ryan had previoulsy pleaded guilty to having cocaine for sale or supply to others at Bothar na dTreabh, Galway on March 11 2010.
