An 18 year old from Rahoon in Co. Galway is in with a chance to win the title of Ireland’s first ‘Brylcreem Head’ as well as a trip to South Africa with a mate for the World Cup 2010.

Celebrity judge Michelle Doherty ‘combed’ through almost 600 nominations to whittle the list down to five, and included Michael Allen for his ‘unique dedication to style and commitment to his coiffure!’

Michael is delighted with the chance to go forward saying, “I have always used Brylcreem for my hair, and am delighted to have been chosen by Michelle as one of the five guys to go through, I just want to encourage everyone out there to vote for me (especially everyone from Galway, and all my mates in UCG!) because I really want to get to South Africa for the World Cup!”

The four other guys who made it through to the shortlist are; Fred Gilbert from Malahide in Co. Dublin, Liam Hunter from Co. Laois, Deane Fitzpatrick from Crumlin in Dublin 12, and Craig Ronaldson from Co. Kildare.
