CITY MAN GETS FIVE MONTHS IN JAIL FOR THEFT OF I-PHONE

A 43-year-old city man has been jailed for five months for stealing an i-phone and for threatening and abusive behaviour in the city last year.

Charles Laffey with an address at 295A Castlepark, Ballybane also received a six month suspended sentence for criminal damage.

He pleaded Guilty to the charges at Galway District Court
