CITY MAN CHARGED WITH SENDING OBSCENE PHONE MESSAGE

A man who has been charged with sending an offensive and obscene message by phone to another person appeared before Galway District Court this week

Before the court was Frank Broderick, 17 Glenrua, Renmore

He’s charged with sending a message by phone on April 6 last from a business premises in a city commercial park, which was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character

She then adjourned the matter to July 30 next and directed statements in relation to the alleged offence be sent to the solicitor.
