CITY MAN BANNED FROM NUIG

A city man has been banned from NUI Galway, and given a suspended five month sentence for stealing a student’s bicycle there last month.

Kevin Goldbey of 28 Gaelcarrig Park, Newcastle pleaded guilty before Galway District Court to stealing a €400 bicycle from the campus on March 1.
