CITY LIGHTHOUSE COULD BE OPENED AS TOURIST ATTRACTION

The city council is considering opening up Mutton Island Lighthouse as a tourist attraction.

A provision will be included in the final draft of Galway City’s Development Plan 2011-2017, to look into ways to open up a major Galway Attraction to tourists.

The provision is subject to a final vote by city councillors later this month.
