ONE of Hollywood’s rising stars has been reminiscing about the Summer he spent working as a student in Galway City long before he became famous.

Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in the new Star Trek film and who has become massively famous since landing the role of Sylar in the hit science fiction show Heroes, spent three and a half months working in Java’s The Art of Coffee on Upper Abbeygate Street.

The 31-year-old star has referred to his time in Galway in a number of interviews recently, mentioning the adventures he had when he was travelling as a young student and his memories of the West of Ireland.
