CITY FAMILY TO ASK OIREACHTAS COMMITTEE TO REGISTER SON’S DEATH ABROAD

A delegation involving a city family and local politicians will appear before the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Social and Family Affairs later today.

They’re hoping to have the law amended so that the deaths of Irish people who die abroad can be registered here.

The family of Keith O’ Reilly late of Merlin Park, who died in Chicago last June say they cannot get an Irish death certificate for him.
