CITY ENERGY COMPANY TO CREATE 12 NEW JOBS

Galway city based energy company Meterlogix is to create 12 new jobs over the next three years.

The energy monitoring and management company employs four people in its Eyre Square office.

The opening of a new branch in the UK has created a further five jobs in Sheffield.

The Managing Director of the company, Ollie Walsh, says the plan is to expand into the wider European market.

The UK branch already accounts for 50% of the company’s sales, but Ollie Walsh insists that the Galway branch will continue to play an important role.
