CITY DEVELOPMENT MEETING ABANDONED OVER DISPUTE

A City Development Board meeting in the city was abandoned today [24/3] following another stand-off with city councillor Padraig Conneely.

Councillor Conneely claims he was not told about the cancellation of an earlier board meeting scheduled for the 10th of March, and demanded a public apology.

A spokesperson for the city council says all 31 members of the City Development Board were informed of the meetings cancellation by telephone.
