City and county represented at National Enterprise Award finals
Two Galway companies – 9th Impact from the city and IMS Marketing, representing the county – are going head to heads tonight, after they were chosen among the finalists in this year’s National Enterprise Awards.
Organised by the Local Enterprise Offices, the 2017 National Enterprise Awards celebrate the achievements of Ireland’s top small businesses and micro-enterprises from all parts of Ireland in a showcase of enterprise, innovation and ambition at Dublin’s Mansion House.
The Galway City Finalist, 9th Impact, was set up in 2014 and they design, build and publish mobile games on Apple App Store, Google Play Store and other stores globally.
The business specialise in negotiating partnerships with TV studios to develop officially licenced games from popular TV franchises.
The company will be represented at the National Enterprise Awards on May 25th by Mark Quick, one of the directors of the company.
And he was quick to praise the assistance from their Local Enterprise Office Galway, which he said was a great help in the early days, describing it as ‘the critical kick start to our business’.
It enabled the company to make purchases required to complete their first game in partnership with a TV studio – Bikers from Mars.
Representing Galway County will be IMS Marketing, which was set up in 2007 as a specialist Business2Business marketing agency.
