CITY COUNCILLORS SLAMMED OVER FAILED POLICIES FOR TRAVELLERS

Failed policies by Galway city councillors have resulted in 16 Traveller families facing eviction to the side of the road next week.

That’s according to Margaret O’Riada of the Galway Traveller Movement.

She was commenting on a recent High Court order for the families to leave a temporary halting site at Carrowbrowne by next Sunday July 12th.
