CITY COUNCIL URGED TO DROP PRICE OF AFFORDABLE HOMES

The Affordable Homes scheme operated by Galway City Council has come under criticism for what some claim is not ‘good value’.

The issue was raised at last night’s meeting of the City Council, where members voted on the disposal of 17 homes under the scheme.

A further 73 houses have yet to be sold.
