CITY COUNCIL SLAMMED FOR HOUSING LOAN PROPOSAL

Galway City Council is belittling the ongoing housing crisis with vague and incomprehensive plans according to Cllr. Catherine Connolly.

A number of councillors were baffled at a meeting last night by a hazy request from the council to raise a major loan of €11 million for the purchase of lands at the Ballymoneen road.

After much discussion it was agreed to adjourn the matter until more information is available
