A city councillor has slammed the city council for taking almost a year to put up warning signs on a dangerous stretch of road in Menlo.

Cllr Terry O’Flaherty is angry the city council has taken no action to put up danger signs on the Coolough Road, warning motorists of dangerous bends.

400 thousand euro allocated to widen the Coolough Road, build footpaths and install public lighting, remains unspent while the city council waits for a Compulsory Purchase Order to go through.
