CITY COUNCIL AWARDED COSTS IN QUARRY CASE

Galway City Council has been awarded costs at the High Court following a case involving Lackagh Quarries.

The company lost its bid to have a permit extended for the Coolough Quarry on the outskirts of the city.

The matter of costs was subsequently raised in the High Court and a spokesperson for the Council says they’re "very pleased" that they have been awarded costs.
