CITY COUNCIL AWAITS FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT NEW HP BLOCK

City planners are awaiting further information about the planned expansion of Hewlett Packard’s European Software Centre in Ballybrit.

Taoiseach, Enda Kenny is in Galway today for a sod-turning at the company based in Ballybrit Business Park at 12.15pm

The new building is expected to create 200 new jobs at HP Galway.

The development has still not got the planning go-ahead and an objection to the development has been lodged by neighbouring company, American Power Conversion, APC.
