CITY CONFERENCE TO RECESSION PROOF CHARITIES

Local charities and voluntary groups in Galway will find out how to survive the Recession at a conference in the city next week.

The Wheel, which is a representative body for charitable and voluntary groups is organising the conference.

It’ll discuss the challenges groups face nowadays with an increased demand for services and cuts in State funding.

The event will take place at the Harbour Hotel in the city centre next Wednesday March 23rd with prior registration on wheel dot ie.
