CITY COMPANY DEVELOPS SYSTEM TO CUT FUEL COSTS

A Galway city company has come up with new technology which could reduce fuel bills by almost 15percent.

Celtrack has developed a system of tapping into a vehicle’s engine and monitoring driver behaviour such as harsh braking and acceleration.

Celtrack based at Ballybrit Industrial Park, in partnership with a Dutch engineering firm, has developed technology which can show whether fuel is being consumed excessively.
