CITY ADULT VIDEO STORE OWNER FINED

The owner of a city video store has been fined €1500 for having five x-rated movies for rent which were banned when later viewed by the film censor.

52 year old Michael Bridgeman, with addresses at Glenview, Ballyneety, Co. Limerick, and Mungret Gate Developments, Limerick, pleaded guilty to three charges of having the illicit movies for supply without a film certificate or correct labelling at his video shop ‘Underworld’, at 20 Upper Dominick Street, Galway, on May 28 last year.
