Date Published: 13-Nov-2007
GALWAY CIRCUS Projects has come a long way since it first began in 2002 and this year sees the introduction of new skills such as ‘aerials’which has been made possible largely due to funding from both the Arts Council, who allocated money towards purchasing new equipment and Galway City VEC, who provided funding towards the installation of new equipment.
In order to introduce this new activity Galway Circus Project are teaming up with Ireland’s leading aerial theatre dance company, Fidget Feet, to present workshops in aerial dance.
Chantal McCormack (Fidget Feet) will run beginners and advanced workshops in St. Josephs Community, Shantalla Centre, on Tuesday, November 20.
Beginners’ classes are open to adults only; no previous experience is necessary though a good physical condition is essential.
