CHANGES TO GAELTACHT LOCAL AREA PLAN NOW ON PUBLIC DISPLAY

Material alterations on the proposed amendment to the Gaeltacht Local Area Plan are now on public display.

Having carried out screenings of the proposed alterations, Galway County Council has determined that a strategic environment assessment (SEA) of one of the proposed material alterations is required.

Following the preparation of an appropriate assessment (AA) screening exercise, an AA of one or more of the alterations is not required.

Copies are available at County Buildings on Prospect Hill, An Cheathru Rua Area Office, the Libraries in Spiddal Village and Post Offices in Corr na Mona, Carna and Leitir Mullain.

Submissions with respect only to the proposed material alteration and accompanying SEA and AA reports will be accepted until Friday March 1st.
