CEO of Galway Roscommon hospital group happy with outcome of first public board meeting

Bill Maher pointed out that last night’s meeting at UHG was the first such meeting to be held in public in Ireland, and that the board were setting the standard for future meetings.

Topics discussed included the addition of a new building with 75 single occupancy wards, the establishment of a Patient’s Council and possible cost-saving measures.
