CCTV FOOTAGE SHOWN IN CITY MURDER TRIAL

The trial of a Polish man accused of fatally stabbing a man after leaving a city nightclub is being shown CCTV footage from that night.

Alexsander Nadwodny, formerly of Renmore Park, has pleaded not guilty to murdering Kieran Cunningham from Claregalway in the early hours of June 3rd, 2009 at Williamsgate Street.

The prosecution says CCTV footage has been crucial to the Garda investigation as Kieran Cunningham was killed out of the blue and nobody was ready for it.
