CASTLEPARK MAN GETS JAIL FOR HOUSE BURGLARY

A Galway city man has been jailed for 14 months and banned from driving for 8 years for burglary and a spate of other offences.

Thomas Sweeney with an address at 214 Castle Park pleaded guilty at Galway District Court to burglary at a house in Oranmore on December 22 last year.

He also admitted not having insurance when stopped by Gardai not far from the house on the same date.
