CASH STRAPPED UDARAS FORCED TO CANCEL MEETINGS

The Údarás na Gaeltachta regional committee for the Galway and Mayo Gaeltacht areas has called off all meetings for at least three months due to a lack of money.

The committee held its March meeting in Claregalway but such is the shortage of funds that it was decided not to hold another meeting until June, at the earliest.

However Udarás has stressed that it’s still very much open for business.
