THERE are potentially two crucial battles that will be fought out in the battle for seats in the Tuam Electoral Area and the rivalry between candidates intensifies.
Two Fine Gael candidates will be in direct battle with each other as the party look set to retain their three seats – barring a very unlikely collapse in their vote.
And it Tuam town itself there will be another head to head contest involving a Fianna Fail and the Labour candidate – one of whom could realistically lose their seat on Galway County Council.
