CAR SALES FALL 15 PERCENT IN GALWAY
Car sales have fallen by more than 15 percent in Galway since last year.
The latest figures from the Society of the Irish Motoring Industry show that 1 thousand 671 cars were registered so far this year.
This compares to 1,978 for the same period last year, a drop of 15 and a half percent.
In March alone, 453 new cars were registered in Galway, a drop of almost 4 percent for the same month in 2012.
SIMI’s Director General, Alan Nolan told Galway Bay fm news that it’s a tough market at the moment.
