CANNABIS SEIZURE AT CIRCULAR ROAD IN THE CITY

Two men are due to appear in court later this month in connection with a drugs seizure in the city last evening.

The Garda Divisional Drugs Unit raided a house at Circular Road around 7p.m yesterday and seized 20 mature cannabis plants and cannabis growing equipment worth around 12 thousand euro.

A 25 year old man and a 26 year old man, from the city, were arrested in the house at Circular Road and were taken to Galway Garda Station.
