CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN THE CITY FOR VICTIMS OF ISRAELI ATTACK

A candlelight vigil will take place in the city today [Fri Jun 04] in memory of those killed during the Israeli attack on an aid flotilla on Monday.
The procession and vigil is being organised by Galway-Palestine Children’s Appeal and the Galway Alliance Against War.
The procession will start at Westside Library at 1.45p.m. and proceed by the Cathedral, through Shop Street to the Spanish Arch.
People are encouraged to bring black, Palestinian or Turkish flags and a book of condolence will be available to sign.
