CALLS TO TACKLE CITY ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

A Galway Senator is calling for decisive action to be taken in tackling anti-social behaviour in the city.

Fine Gael Senator Fidelma Healy Eames says she has received numerous requests from people wishing to seek a housing transfer due to continued disturbances in the Ballybane area.

She’s calling on the Gardai to introduce a more regular monitor of the area so that those responsible can be held to account.

Meanwhile the local community forum is due to meet to discuss the issues next Monday [Nov 28].
