CALLS TO STOP NIGHT VIOLENCE IN TUAM

Incidents of night violence on the streets of Tuam over the past two week-ends must be stamped out according to members of the town council.

At last night’s meeting of the town board members said that a small minority of young thugs should not be allowed to give the town a bad name.

It was suggested that having Garda Cars parked outside night clubs at closing time might be one deterrent.
