CALLS ON NRA TO SOLVE GORT ROADWORKS GRIDLOCK

There are fears the town of Gort could grind to a halt tomorrow due to heavy delays caused by road works.

The National Roads Authority is severing one of the existing roads and tying it into one of the new roundabouts at the junction of the M18 motorway.

Severe traffic delays were reported between 3 and 7 last evening and there are now concerns the Friday evening rush hour will cause even longer delays.
