Calls for maintenance plan for Poolboy site in Ballinasloe
Galway bay fm newsroom -A Ballinasloe town councillor is calling for a maintenance plan to be put in place for the former 28 acre landfill site in Poolboy.
Councillor Carmel Greally told last evening’s meeting of the town council the site was ‘totally overgrown and neglected’.
She was one of a group brought on a recent visit of the site, and raised concerns about loose horses and the dangers of overground pipes.
